Though the message you are trying to convey is honest is worth commendable, you should not have done mockery of Gods. None of the devote Hindus will like it as the manner you have shown the Goddess will hurt the religious sentiments. I request you to remove this post from your blog as it is about one's faith and feelings.
Hope you'll consider my honest request.

a hard-hitting message indeed. i have been seeing campaigns on 'save the tiger' which has been running now for weeks without much impact. i doubt the people who join the bandwagon even recognise the severity of the issue. to me this toon captures all of it. the fact that the issue perhaps needs the intervention at the highest level..almost a 'bhagwan bachaaye' cry. it also requires people to sit up and take note and you have done it all remarkably. i truly hope people who know you and have followed you recognise the intent behind the way you have captured the message and not insinuate anything that was clearly not the intent. a brave step, tcp. good luck!

Well TCP, I can understand the honest message which was intended with the cartoon, but I must also admit, whether I would have taken it with full heart, if it was used with a religious figure closed to me.
So, may be if others feel hurt, I believe it's best to respect those religious sentiments.
At the same time I don't stand by those hate comments thrown at. TCP is a good friend, and he can always take healthy criticism. Convey the protest, don't hate a person, without giving him a chance to correct (provided, if he feels that he wasn't right).
