Comic #229: Phantom – The Little Princess

Sunday, February 22, 2009 Share: Digg Technorati Delicious StumbleUpon Facebook

2.5 weeks. Met very interesting people – Ragda pattice with @sanjay_mehta. Blog meet with @bombaylives @sanjeevsarma. Fun at Kala Ghoda with @ideasmithy @jhayu @blipblip @asfaq + Yorick. Tried to get people interested in my favourite sandwich – bread, butter, chutney, jam, toast. Conversations, some masti, dhamaal, timepass. Thank you all. Ate mom-made khana. Street food. Caught up with friends and family. Roamed around a bit (not as much as I wanted). Took some pictures (very few and will try to post later). Didn’t watch a film in a standalone theatre. In fact, didn’t watch any film. But it’s time to go now.

I was asked “How did Bombay treat you?”
My response: “The way I wanted to be treated. Slow and easy at first and then hurled me into the chaos. Awesome”

Thank You Bombay.

The next post will be from Amsterdam.

Me the first... Good to know you had some fond memories in ur trip back home.... By the way, have u been settled at amsterdam, or is it only on deputation ?? Because I rememebr you were there in India when you started TCP, I might be wrong, though :)

Nice Comic. I still remember those scenes where the birds carry the little princess up and away.... Phantom has always been part and parcel of anyon's childhood who grew in 80's and 90's...

Happy Journey Back to Firangi...

I have learnt about this blog while reading a newspaper in Delhi recently. I have two bound volumes of Indrajal Comics collections. Would like to post them after scanning. They are from 60s as I started to purchase them since 1967. About 2-3 volumes have already been stolen.
