A few weeks ago, I put up a post about "new and improved" TCP under the title - 3 options. For those who hadn't visited TCP for a few days, it seemed like a random post but there was a specific reason for that post. It was an attempt to play down disgusting abuses and some pathetic language by a visitor. This "visitor" abused regular visitors using the identities of other visitors. I can respond to the worst situations with my "non"sense of humour but this situation required some control and I enabled comment moderation.
For #200 and the 2nd anniversary, I had disabled moderation and enabled anonymous commenting because it was a special occassion and I wanted us to go back to the good old days. But the abuses were back. I initially thought it was being done for kicks, but looking at the timing, the nature of comments and overall pattern, I am not so sure.
TCP was a playground where we all could come in and could have some fun, fight each other, laugh with each other and just chatter. But suddenly that was all gone and I had no idea why. Against all our wishes, TCP grew a little older and you could say it is now in its teens.
But TCP is about smiles .. and that shall continue uninterrupted. Stay tuned, there is a lot more to come - things that you expected...and...then there is the unexpected :-)

hi TCP,
was an avid reader of phatom and mandrake for many years..luckily discovered u'r site..just wnated to say thanks.
as for the abuses...it's a shame how ppl misuse liberty and later howl when it is taken away.
Keep up the good work.
I am glad comment moderation is back. Thank you TCP!
i'm glad too...though like someone suggested, blocking the IP address of the mental patient is a good idea if it's possible, bcos i've a serious suspicion this guy has multiple empty blogs to get around the anonymity clause (which means if no one else, at least TCP will have to read some trash)...ok, seriously long sentence, will stop now...me 1st on this post though! :D
Off-topic: Did you guys know that there's a new JRR Tolkien (LOTR fame) book called "The Children of Hurin" edited by his son Christopher Tolkien? Just putting it out there, for the benefit of any Tolkien fans :D
Hi TCP,
Someone has posted comment on my name in previous post. Please remove it. It is not from me.
I no longer post anonymous comment. I will post on with my id.
Isn't that the saddest thing? Like the school bully who forces the genial PT master to come up with Playground Rules... Grrrrr
TCP, I've said it before and I'll say it again - I admire your humourous reactions to unfriendly attacks.
And since comment moderation is on, will change tactics and claim LAST :D
Time flies. It was just the other day that we had started reading the comics. It was just the other day where obi-wan and sunshine fought over bye-laws. It was just the other day when you posted one of my posts as links on this blog and yet it does not feel that there are 200 comics in 2 years. It just feels that day. This is really nostalgic
HEy Frnds, this is my second visit to TCP an d to my surprise and delight, I saw that it was the 200th Comics posting day. 200th post is good, but I was a little disappointed that it was Mandrake and not a Phanom Post. Well, ...

Pl. accept my delayed best wishes for the joyful second anniversary of the greatest Project named “The Comics Project”.
As commented in detail on CW’s blog, I strongly advocate MediaFire (excellent for free user like me) instead of Rapid Share (torture for free user) for providing download links besides giving all scanned pages at a glance to sustain the classic and original look of the comics blogs.
Discretion of other readers are very important to arrive at the final decision.
I don't know if my previous comment got saved - I got some error - anyway, to be on the safer side I'm typing again
@TCP: I wish I cd to go the woods and get phantom's help to put this weirdo behind the bar - after decorating his jaw with one of those skull marks of course :D
tcp....ignore the abuse if you can. A lot of us really appreciate the work you've put in to this site, and really like the comics you have here.....allowing us to go back to our childhood.
I am here. Just got turned off with the past nasty comments.
Hello TCP,
Please keep the good work going on.
Regards,
Mahesh kumar
