Diwali Stamp
--------------------------
Diwali is an important Hindu festival, and USPS (US Postal Service) is
considering issuing stamps for this occasion. USPS has stamps for other
festivals too like Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Eid, and Chinese New Year.
To do this, USPS needs 500,000 signatures to have a stamp release,and so far
we have ~330,000 people who have signed the petition. Please go to the site
below and support the release of the Diwali stamp.

twice the same.. hmm ain't that smell of automation
twice the same.. hmm ain't that smell of automation
nahiiii.... No automation! I merely suggest.. If I were proactive enough to do what I say, I..cant think of anything right now.
@ Revealed: 2nd - so 2. Imagine if I claimed 19th.. TCP would be figuring out means of blocking me :))
@Revealed: Thank you :-)
There you go again.. Another old Phantom comic which has Diana being kidnapped. :-)
woooow! the moogoo dolls comic. LOVED that one.
What is this juvenile, 'I claim 1st', 'I claim 2nd' nonsense everytime? Do you guys have nothing meaningful to say at all?
Whenever Lee Falk ran out of ideas he would come up with a story of Diana being kidnapped. In my opinion, the Tarkimo kidnappings were the best of them all. Didn't he have her dressed in a go-go dancer's outfit and caged? Or maybe my memory fails me and it is another story...
@anonymous: great minds think alike. :-)
i had raised this same question in one of the earlier blogs (one of the Ming Ki Shikar triology), but was told by 'veterans' that this is what they like to do.
if, by Tarkimo, you mean the king who used a fishing rod to catch girls, you may be right. i think that particular comic also had the Marshall sisters vying to attract the Phantom.
@Anon & Shail: You say it best, when you say nothing at all!
@Everyone else: Why does this remind me of moong dal?
@shail: What ppl write about in their post is up to them. Maybe they have nothing to share for now :)
I think the idea of competing across timezones to be the "first" to post on this blog however childish it might look to many is kind of fun.
@tin tin: no absolute conclusion! got dozens of theories however
@tin tin: for the same reason i am reminded of Rastapopulous? ;-)
@Temple: a dime for the dozen?
@Shail: Don't get all tintin on me.. I hate everything about tintin except his hairstyle.. This is, actually, what my mum and friends call me.. and you are NOT everyone else!
@Everyone else: Doesnt MOoGOo look like spock from *trek?
anonymous & shail: I really feel sad for you. What will you get by begrudging other people the happiness that they get by playing such games? You have stopped enjoying life and have grown old, hope me and the other 'veterans' never outgrow our childish games.
May the Force be with you!
@tin tin: cool. yes, he does look like Spock.
@obi wan: you got it - no more grudges
let me search my archives. i am sure i have this comic book. if i find it, i will scan and send the missing page.

@omm: congrats and no controversies so far
@obiwan: alwaaaaaaaaaaaays late
@sunshine: alwayyyyyyyyyys following obi or horizon..+ or -2
@shail: ur welcome.
@templetiger: no rules for that
@hp: weird na? someone just gives up a position like that
@anon: this method kinda works best..because of accessibility everywhere..and it adds some colour to the otherwise boring page
@indianmalang: you dont talk...cribbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb alwaysssssssss blaming me for something or the other grrrrrrrr
@revealed: whoaaaaaa..you just let go of a position kewl
@icr: interesting.but why do I need the US to get a stamp on Diwali? just my thought but is it like an approval of sorts? I am sure its not and you dont see it that way either. But with 1 billion people..I really don't need to beg for a stamp from another country. No thank you.
@tintin: hey 19th was always yours..its you who entered the race hehe
@shubham: yeah..diana is like a hindi movie heroine. phantom ke naak me dum karti hogi na? but then she's pretty..so maaf
@rs: :-)
@anon#2 on the comic: no..we have nothing meaningful to say..sorry :-) The whole internet is full of places for interesting people to say interesting things making things more interesting. We love being silly.
@shail: you raised the question and that's fine. the answer - will probably never be to your satisfaction.
@tin tin: moong dalllllllllllllll :---))))))))))) too gooddddddddd .. haha... were you born in 1983?
@obi: no serious..just silly..no serious :-)
@captain q: thanks for the links
