Comic #109: Flash Gordon - Mongo's Rebel Warlords

Should have posted this comic 2 days ago, but have been suffering from a severe bout of laziness. A day before I left home, I saw this sign at a xerox (photocopy) shop - shows the load-shedding times in the area.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
The timings are: (5 hours every day)
Sun: 08.45 - 12.30, 18.30 - 19.45
Mon:08.45 - 12.30, 18.30 - 19.45
Tue: 07.30 - 08.45, 16:00 - 18:30, 19.45 - 21.00
Wed:08.45 - 12.30, 18.30 - 19.45
Thu: 07.30 - 08.45, 16:00 - 18:30, 19.45 - 21.00
Fri: 08.45 - 12.30, 18.30 - 19.45
Sat: 07.30 - 08.45, 16:00 - 18:30, 19.45 - 21.00

These load shedding timings rob the shopkeeper of his livelihood. This shop will never get any business, because when someone wants a photocopy done, they know that THIS SHOP is not the one to go to.

When I took this snap at the shop, it was for how "load shedding" was spelt :-) but a second look at the sign made my smile disappear. I know there are many places facing worse conditions, but this is pretty bad in itself. It's criminal.

To all readers of TCP, is it possible to spread this link or image? This sounds weird but all help is greatly appreciated. It is at "http://img526.imageshack.us/img526/2914/xeroxshoploadshedding8rz.jpg"

Now for the comic :-) Excellent Flash Gordon title this. Hope you all like.

First post!!
Yes, TCP: I hope it never happens again..too many scars, too many holes in the fabric of the nation from that..
Apparently, another bid was thwarted. I still have hope in the tolerance that this nation has exhibited, and the amazing capability to assimilate.
@Obi-wan, please scan your comics!

Yes, I hope it never happens again too....but seems unlikely. I would say no country in the world has coped this well...not only tolerance but the ability to pick up the pieces and move on in life. Load shedding has been always there in different parts of India and as a Mumbaikar I used to feel really proud read conceited to be able to enjoy electricity throughout the day. But seems like the Mumbai power is getting weak.....
