Comic #24: Bahadur - The Dictates of Destiny

I have received a couple of wonderful contributions over the last week or two, and I will be posting them soon. I have formatted one of the comics and it's ready for upload. The second one is yet to be downloaded from my mailbox. So contributors, please be patient, you will see your contributions on the project very shortly.

IP is much better now, tired and a bit weak, but has resumed work...feels good to see her running around again. Posting a Bahadur this time. It's called The Dictates of Destiny. As a kid, the first two reads was about the story and what Bahadur does to his adversaries. But the third read was all about Bela.
Yes, Bela. As I was browsing through the comic, found a couple of lovely illustrations of Bela.

Probably had no clue why I dug out Bela, or Narda or Diana from the comics...and always found Bela to be THE MOST eye-popping of them all. Maybe because she was an indian and somewhere, a non-indian (read American) girl never appealed to me, the way an indian girl did. The pull ... was a very innocent kind of attraction, turning into something not that innocent in my teens, and fading away when the innocence died. Except in those rare moments when the Belas, Nardas and Dianas came rushing back into my mind and the very thought of being "innocent" brought a smile to my face. A smile that tells me, that it is still lurking around - the innocence.

I really need to learn to stop talking. Presenting The Dictates of Destiny - Another TCP Original

I went through the Phantom's first few issue published in 1937 and I found out diana look amazingly beautiful. But you are right Bela looks simple and beautiful or we should we say simply beautiful. Thanks for bringing us a bahadur comic after a long wait. Also you did not put the contributor's name this time??

Hi,
Am a first time visitor here. Thanks for the links to the Indrajal comics!

I have a suggestion though about posting comics, for easier viewing/download:
* You could zip all the images, upload the zip file on some free web space (such as geocities or tripod) and link to it from this blog. This will make downloading easier
*Or host the pictures on flickr or webshots, so that we can navigate from one page to another easily.

Thanks once again!

And o yes!

Bela!!

When i first discovered this site, i must admit part of me was looking for her

she's smart, doesn't take S***. Very down to earth. Lovely smile. almost mystic at times no? she looks neat and tidy ... and she is desi!!! :)

remember when she first met bahadur the good ol 'patka' and bahadur is sprawled over the table ' ? i think that was the story where her dad was kidnapped or somehting and bela has to go up eagle view mountain on a horse? I remmeber one of the daku saying here comes the bride with the dowry GRRRR!!!!!
